It's getting to get closer to that time of year when the beautiful Azaleas will begin to bloom. Here is your warning.... Azaleas are toxic to both humans and animals.
Although adults are much too smart to eat parts of this Bush, and I'm giving some of you the benefit of the doubt, but most adults aren't that stupid and if they are the acid in the leaves should give them fair enough warning, you really have to be mindful of the children and animals. Kids of course won't tell you what they've done and the animals can't so here are your warning signs. If these are present call 911 immediately.
1- inability to walk or stagger
2- vomiting and diarrhea
3- low blood pressure
4- low heart rate
5- access to the pretty blooming azaleas blooming looking all so tempting.
Enjoy the blooms but keep an eye on the kids and animals.
