I recently read an interesting quote . Bloom where you are planted. Man how simple and profound at the same time.
You know there's nothing wrong with wanting to improve things. But it seems too many are so busy looking at exterior things and chasing " the ideal " they never get one minutes peace in any day. It seems to me that has become the " norm" in America today and people are floundering and more miserable than ever. They're so busy chasing their on tail they can't see their own face.
You know if you don't actually enjoy what is right there right now you're miserable looking outside at other things longing miserably for that and you spend all of your time running around. What a miserable existence.
It seems other countries right now have the advantage. Look at the data by country on the happiest places to live where the citizens are more content. Then look at where the US ranks. It ain't way up there y'all .
So my thought for the day " bloom where you are planted" . Enjoy what's right in front of you.
If you cherish the here and now you'll spend much less time with an address on misery lane.
