Complaining about the weather

During the winter time I mostly complain about the cold and whine about not being able to grow anything. It's a whine fest. Mostly poor me not being able to grow anything and my garden is not doing anything.

Well since the warmer weather has rolled in I've noticed that the mosquitoes this year are a pandemic itself because our winter this year was extremely mild and didn't kill off the mosquitoes from last year.

So I think I've learned a valuable lesson from the experience, it's like a child whinnying for more and more candy until they throw up then the parents saying see we tried to tell you. I think every once in a while God let's a little thing slide to teach a valuable lesson. There's a reason for everything. There's a time for growing and a time for rest. I think the best example of that is seeds like peach , apple etc have to have a chill period ie: the winter and it has to get cold enough and stay cold enough for the seed to get the appropriate chill period in order to germinate in the spring.

Then there's always the example of wanting the warmer weather to come around to plant and grow , then in the middle you're complaining about the heat. 🥵 I think it's a no win situation for God.

You know I also think without the Change in seasons you really don't appreciate what you get because you wouldn't have anything to compare it to.

As far as complaining about the heat , without the certain temperature ranges , there are ranges for many of the plants we grow every year which is why there are great spring, summer and fall vegetables and fruits that need that range otherwise they wouldn't grow. Without these ranges we'd be without so many of those we love.

Soi nstead of my usual complaining this year I'm going to thank God for each and every temperature of each and every season that blessed us with the variety of foods we selfishly enjoy without a second thought.

🙏🛐
