Heating with Firewood

Heating with Firewood is not only an alternative heat but an overall experience. Now back when Risha and I bought our first house we were 20 years old and had an insert in our fireplace. There's no doubt that thing could crank out the heat . And of course there was the cutting and splitting firewood which at that time didn't seem like that big a deal. But let me tell you cutting and splitting firewood at 53 is a big difference than 23 . I didn't remember feeling every swing of an axe as much. 😂

But with that said it's definitely a warmer heat that warms your cold bones on a crisp and cold winter day that's just different. Did you know a study was done and they had subjects sit around and watch a fireplace. After 10 minutes of watching the fire their blood pressure decreased by 5 points and the longer they watched the more they relaxed. Why do you think the videos of fireplaces shoot up so much during the holidays ? It's an experience. But this will absolutely save money on the heating bill over the winter so yeah 😁👍. I'm pretty sure the relaxing evenings will just add to the benefits. But the one thing I'm going to have to get used to again is cutting and splitting firewood. 😂🔥
