It's garlic time

The weather is getting ready to take that annual turn. So it's time to get your garlic in the ground before it's too cold for the garlic to root.

Now I just got my garlic bulbs in and after splitting the bulbs I should have around 50 to plant.

The great thing about the garlic is it's like that commercial - set it and forget it- . You plant it now , cover it with a barrier such as straw or hay to protect it from the weeds and warming and cooling variances in the temperatures with the wet weather which great changes in temperatures is not a good thing for your garlic. But they won't be ready to harvest until next year. Then you can save and replant a few bulbs after drying next year to keep yourself in garlic year round.

You can't go wrong with this in your garden especially for actually using your garden bed during the normal time your garden isn't actually doing anything for you.

The great thing about having garlic year round is both for flavoring foods as well as medicinal purposes. It's a win win. 🧄😁👨‍🌾

So get out there and plant your garlic 🧄🧄🧄🧄🧄🧄🧄🧄👨‍🌾😁
