In the cold dark days of winter , dream about the flowers to get warmed up. šŸŒ·šŸŒ»šŸ˜

You know the feeling concerning winter and it's been that same aboding feeling for eons now. There were and are religions set up around this seasonal tif. There are actual mental health issues that show depression around this seasonal dip in the temperatures and shorter days for the sun to enjoy. This has numerous scientific reasons that are absolutely validated. This year I've decided to use it as a planning period and accomplishing tasks I've put off because of gardening issues during the fun time. It's so hectic and busy during the nice weather that that you tend to put off tasks until " you have time " . Well here is the perfect time since things are slowing down and instead of just accepting the misery that is winter I'm going to use it as a chance to accomplish many tasks and look forward to the spring when you can take that big spring cleansing breath . With this cold time I can plan for the spring and stay a step ahead . You know how during the rush of spring you get all of your planting done then two to three weeks in you say to yourself I sure wish I'd have planned this out better. Well here's the time. I'm going to make good use of this " free" time. šŸ˜. The other thing is if you really start preparing a bed in the winter and have a good planting plan you're two steps ahead.

The other thing to really focus on to prepare for the next spring is coop revamps. It's cool enough to get out inside the coops for extended periods of time without dying from heatstroke and really get small issues accomplished before they become large ones.

Normally during the rush of spring and summer you really just notice things that could be redone but just say " I'll get to that later when I have time" . Well here's the perfect time.

So normally during the first bitter cold snap it's ā˜¹ļø a foreboding feeling. But with this time this year I'm going to make good use of the time I have free and hopefully come spring look back and have much less rushing around to do with a new feeling of accomplishment. šŸ˜šŸŒ»
