Believe it or not pine bark isn't just there to make good kindling for starting fires. It has a large number of benefits including but not limited to , lowering blood sugar, fighting and preventing infections such as staph and ecoli. It has been known to remove free radicals from the system as well. It helps with balance and hearing loss. It's due to the antioxidants in the pine bark that apparently repairs nerve damage in the inner ear that can restore balance and haring loss. It helps protect the skin from UV rays. The bark also helps the skin absorb vitamin D at a much higher rate.
