Rosemary isn't just for cooking

Writer's picture: Carolina Farmer FarmerCarolina Farmer Farmer

It seems most people grow rosemary for their chicken cooking pleasure or adding that fragrance and flavor to their delectable food preparation. However rosemary has so many medicinal uses it's crazy NOT to grow rosemary for all of those other uses.

Did you know the dried leaves once crushed up can be used as a flea and tick deterrent?

Did you know rosemary has antifungal , antibacterial and antiviral properties. Why go to a pharmacy or the pharmacy isle of your local stores when you have this wonderful plant growing in your garden ?

If you have the time look up all of the wonderful medicinal value this plant holds and you too will not want to do without this plant in your garden either.
